Back Catalogue

It is a few weeks since I linked a post to Paint Party Friday.  My stroke, which you can read about here, has taken more out of me than I ever imagined it would. So, I have had little choice other than to follow the doctor’s advice to avoid stress and take a break from everything. I have only recently ventured out for the first time since leaving the hospital. I do miss my walks in the local woods, but such is life. It is best to accept these things rather than fight them and give myself time to recover.

I have done very little artwork either, but I decided to post a small drawing from my back catalogue, which I drew before I took ill. I am currently awaiting the delivery of some small canvasses that I plan to use for some similar designs.

Hopefully, I will be feeling better soon. Every day does bring some improvement, and I am thoroughly looking forward to being a bit more productive in the coming weeks.

Stay safe, everyone, and happy PPF.

  1. Beautiful little artwork !!
I wish you a speedy recovery from this stroke, life will be different.
I hope that painting on canvas radiates inner peace to find your center again and thus also improves your health. I have achieved a lot with it.

  2. John, I am so sorry to read about the stroke and the hardships of getting back to a more normal routine. You are a strong, mind determined man that will find a way. As you know art brings us to that place of normalcy. Create, even if you don’t feel like it. Just create. Your art is full of life and that is a good focus. Prayers be with you my friend.

    • Thank you, Nicole. I do like routine, and I can’t wait to get back into mine again. Art is a great cure, all creative endeavours provide healing. I fully intend to get creating just as soon as I can.
